I Now Stop negotiating
my worth.
I now learn to walk away with the same confidence l walked in with.
As women, we’re often taught to endure,
to explain,
to fix, to hold on…
even when sensing the life draining out of me.

I see now a lesson
in the way men detach from what no longer serves them: they choose themselves without guilt.
I never respected this such a weak selfish play.

Imagine how much stronger we’d be if we stopped apologizing for protecting our peace.
If we walked away the moment our spirit felt heavy.
If we stopped shrinking,
over giving,
or staying in places never honoring me.

Self preservation is not selfish. so here is were I flee

Prioritizing my very own well being is not disrespectful.

And choosing myself is not a betrayal it’s
Wisdom.

As I move my ways matching only the energy I give
