true love

I've spent my whole life searching for
the one I could call my own,
I never thought that I'd find him
but with this my mind was blown.

this is so much than I
have ever imagined a love can be,
my life was saved the day that
my eyes were opened so I could see.

I never knew what true love was
until I seen it with my own two eyes,
now on the days that we're not together
the more my heart feels like it dies.

I'm so thankful everyday
for all the time I have with you,
when you were brought into my life
I could feel that your love is true.

before you came along
nothing in my life was fine,
I am forever grateful
that I am yours and you are mine.

I don't know for sure
what else I could possibly say,
I swear I'm going to love you
to no end until my dying day.

I try to tell you how much
I love you so it comes out clear,
you came into my life
and chased away all my fear.

so now I know how it feels
to be truly loved by one like you,
everyday I have to spend with you

as this love of ours grows
stronger with every passing day,
I feel so safe and warm
as I keep your love in my heart to stay.

I love waking up next to you everyday
and falling asleep next to you at night,
I would gladly give my life for you
if it was possible for me to fight your fight.

I love you so deeply
from within my soul and heart,
I'm not looking forward to the day
when we have to part.

but I know that one day
we will meet again,
that's when where our love came to an end-
